Closed-door private events run by a different set of rules. Executive retreats. Donor dinners. Brand-VIP nights. Member-only launches. The guest list is curated, the aesthetic has to read upscale without grandstanding, and the install crew has to understand discretion as part of the deliverable. The canopy itself becomes part of the impression every guest takes home.
Hut^Flex deploys at this end of the market regularly. The neutral sand-colored Bedouin canopy reads premium without fighting the venue’s existing aesthetic. Multi-point tensioning eliminates the visible center poles that make a frame tent look like a banquet rental. And because we’re a boutique operator running ~100 events total, not 500 a month, every private event gets the attention of someone treating your guest list as their own.

Private event FAQ
How discreet is the install? Small, focused crew that respects guest privacy. No oversized signage, no marketing on the canopy. Two to four people, briefed on the event’s tone and access protocol before they arrive.
Insurance documentation in advance? Yes. Insurance is included in rental, and we provide certificates of insurance for venues that require them ahead of time.
Will the tent look formal enough for a black-tie evening? The Bedouin geometry photographs as upscale and adapts to any decor. With curated lighting and tablescaping (partner referrals available) the canopy disappears into the experience.
Lead time? Two weeks from local LA stock; one week is possible in urgent cases. For a custom canopy for a recurring private-event series, allow 1-2 months from our Netherlands facility.
Geography? LA, OC, all of SoCal within 200 miles of LA. Travel fee for events farther out — Bay Area, Vegas, Phoenix all doable.
